What to do on this rough patch in my yard?

It's bumpy which is tough to mow, Planning to scatter clovers on it and water regularly since equipments like a sod cutter is not an option. anyone tried this on uneven ground? Also, is it oaky to overseed clover? TY

@InternationalFall99 I've definitely tried similar things on a lumpy lawn! Clover will grow on uneven ground just fine, and it can help create a softer feel, but it won't magically level the surface.
If mowing is the main issue, you might need to manually fill in the worst dips.
For overseeding clover, it works best if you lightly rake the area first to loosen the soil, giving the seeds better contact. Then scatter the clover and water consistently.
it will take a little longer to establish if it's competing directly with thick grass

Does it have to be clover? A friend of mine went with Creeping thyme and says that it's probably the lowest maintenance thing he has in his backyard.
